As Tony and Tracey go toe to toe with their enemies both hearts racing and pumping through their chest as they let their machine guns loose. Bullets and shell case are all over the lawn. As they see all four of the bodies drop and a moment of dead silence the both of them look over the four bodies and see that they were familiar faces. Adrenal still runs through the both of them as they here police sirens getting closer and closer to them as they jump back in the black truck they where in and flee the crime scene leaving no marks behind them except the shell cases and the house that they were in.

Community Violence
Violence in the community could cause a big conflict in a community. Violence could be a divider and break up people’s relationships.  Violence in a community has been proven to be one of the main conflicts that goes on in it (Duffany, 2017). There are many ways to solve violence in a community.  Bridging the Response to Mass Shootings and Urban Violence: Exposure to Violence in New Haven, Connecticut, Organizational Justice Perceptions and Views on Violence of Branch Teachers Working in Primary Schools, Mental ill health in structural pathways to women’s experiences of intimate partner violence have prime examples of solutions for ending violence.
In the article Bridging the Response to Mass Shootings and Urban Violence: Exposure to Violence in New Haven, Connecticut, a nonviolent protest was the solution mentioned (Duffany, 2017). This is a good replacement for the violent riots that were taken place beforehand. For example the LA riot was a violent act that could have been easily replaced by a nonviolent protest of a community. Instead of coming peaceful, the people in the LA riot watched their community go up to flames as ciaos travels through the city. The nonviolent protest is a movement that bring people together and help them get more involved of what’s going on in their community. The exposure to gun violence has reported 73% gunshots heard and out of that neighborhood some are close friends or family members 29% have gotten hurt and 18% got killed. They all differ by race and ethnicity and social class but they are low income neighborhoods. For black males the ages are among 18-34 years old” (Duffany, 2017). This fact alone made people realize that it was a huge problem and made them come together and protest. Another solution suggest in the article, Organizational Justice Perceptions and Views on
Violence of Branch Teachers Working in Primary Schools, they talked about how violence start when children are young and in school. The solution they had to stop this was to increase the influence teachers have on the young children to put a in to violence. (Koc, 2016).
In my opinion a nonviolent protest is a good suggestion but, there is not enough precaution to prevent an outbreak. This being said communities should be more equipped by having more police cars roam the area to prevent a lot of the violent activities taking place. They also try to increase the members of the neighborhood watch and somebody to report to that could handle things quickly and efficiently. Another suggestion is that violence can be in kids at an early age, but if they had more people to influence their life other than teachers that could be prevented. To increase it, they should create special programs such as a big brother or a big sister program to have people in their lives to help guide children in the right direction.

The articles share many similarities such as violence in their communities and what they can do to stop this unhealthy outbreak of forcefulness. My opinion is also similar due to the fact that I mentioned how violence in a community needs to be put to an end. All together the solutions listed above are all good ideas that could end violence in a community. If these suggestions were utilized violent communities could become a healthier, more suitable place.

Violence of Branch Teachers Working in Primary Schools.” Journal of Education and Training Studies. October 2016.
In this article, the author, Koc, discusses the perceptions towards violence in primary
school. At first the article discusses how teachers play a big part on the violence in children during their younger years. However, by the end of the article, it is stated that there are negatively and low level relationships between the two topics.

pathways to women’s experiences of intimate partner violence.” PLoS ONE. April 2017.

This article discusses how violence is derived from alcoholism and PTSD. It then continues to touch briefly on how these are common disorders that cause a connection to an unhealthy community. The author, Machisa, then discusses how child abuse, mental illness, and intimate partner violence, or IPV, are also underlying pathways that relate to unhealthy communities as well.

The same night that the brothers Tony and Tracey put down Snell they went to the house they all had together to just recuperate from what they just did. its now around 3 in the morning as they get out the car a white car spins the block burning rubber towards them. Both brothers heart drop as Tony shouts out to his little brother make a run for the house. Its sounds like the fourth of the July took place as they run into the house. The whole house is riddled with bullets as the street is covered in shells. four guys get out the white car as they walk towards the house. Tony and Tracey both rose up from the main window of the house they took cover at and all hell broke loose.

week 12

In the video "Elevator Music" one person start playing their music off their phone then others in the elevator followed and played their music on their phones and everybody try to overcome everybody else. But one guy had a big stereo and walked in and everybody cut their phones off and he looked around and played his music through his headphones. I guess the message here is that it only takes one person to make a difference and which he did and everybody just basically fell in line behind,

It was a cold summer night a man name Tony was in a dilemma because he just got word that one of his closes friend Snell was stabbing him in the back. The word through the great vine was that he set him up for nice little payment. Tony all nervous pacing back and forth thinking about what move he should make now. Called his little brother Tracey to tell him what he going through. Tracey picked up and hey cruising in a all black truck and the storm was getting heavy, they then came up with a plan  and they acting on it. its about 2 in the morning the rain wasn't slowing down at all, Snell hear a kncok at his door. he gets up stumbling to the door not fully awake to know whats going on. He opens it and see Tony and Tracey dressed in all black with gloves then looks at them face to face and that was the last thing he saw as they the brothers watch his body drop to the floor.

Week 11 Transition

The writing from high school to college is a big transition. A lot of college professors expect students to come in knowing the material that they need to do the college papers they haven't learn yet. Most professor end up teaching them the actual materials that they suppose to be taught but that one of the myths of the transition. Another myth that takes place is when they mention academic freedom. Academic freedom is the responsibility as a college student to get your work done on your own because nobody is watching over you like how its was in high school. Its on the student to get the work done and the professors aren't in your face about missing assignments  its all on the student.

Its a nice hot summer day, 78 degrees outside I'm riding in something that goes faster than the speed of light. My brother and I are just speeding down the express way doing over 100mph without a care in the world. To us that just a good feeling where you feel like your on top of the world and can't be touch. I remember that day like it was yesterday my brother just tells me its days like this we know that we living good. The music is blasting through the my grandmas neighbor as we came off the freeway and made a stop at you see just everybody outside just have a good time its the best feeling ever.

Regrets

The only thing I regret, is that I didn't grow up sooner. What I mean by that is the stuff I realize now I wish I would've been realized it when I was younger. I just think it would've overall made me a better man and I would've been more prepared for things to come my way. I guess its all a part of growing up you live and you learn everyday. I only regret this because everything I thought of was wrong and I just started thinking on my own.

politics

The article "Why America First is a Dangerous Doctrine they has people who was against Donald Trump which was the anti-Trump administration. This group can be a unhealthy community because they can divide themselves from the people that do support Trump that was part of their community. Since they are divided then it could create conflict between the two and can cause a big impact.
In the article Behind the internet's Anti-Democracy Movement are a group of people known as the anti-egalitarians who only thought for them. This group of people only thought about the way they viewed things they didn't care about the people around them and this is unhealthy because its a community you have to think about others which they didn't.

Nino and Tiana

Let me tell you about a little boy named Nino. Nino was a kid who didn't believed in love. He thought that love was fake and couldn't be found for him. This thought about Nino knowing he would never find love made him a certain way that everybody called him an asshole. Until one day somebody caught Nino's eye, kind of like a star that shines brighter than the other stars in the sky. The was she smiled at him made him catch chills down his spine. He saw her at a party they were both at he approached her and whispered something in her ear that made that smile come back out. From that moment he knew he felt what love was. After weeks of talking to Tiana, he was thinking he found his bestfriend, somebody who was as crazy as him. He found his self falling in love, it was a weird feeling to him. As they got closer and closer the more he gave in and everybody knew that Tiana was changing him for the better. One day the had a little argument and he found his self making a selfish mistake with another girl who Tiana had recent problem with. After Tiana found out the day before her birthday Tiana cut ties with him for a while but Nino was crushed and blamed nobody but his self. They still talk from time to time just to say hey Nino tries to comeback closer to her but she wasn't having it. 3 years later down they are still only associates when she left Nino a big happy part of him went with her, he still swears to this day that he would never fall so hard ever again. Women from then to now just come and they go. Its like she took his heart with her because its hard for him to care for anybody else.

The first commercial about the trampoline when the dad was building it for his daughter than some animals came and played on it and then the next morning their dog jumped on it I think it was intended to tell the buyers that its for everybody to enjoy playing on it. In the second commercial the boy had act like he was lost just so he could get a ride in the officers Benz. Mercedes Benz was just trying to show the people who would be interested in a Benz that anybody would want to ride in one.  The last commercial was about Budweiser they were targeting people who drink beer and saying people who drink Budweiser are most likely to have more fun and partying.

I love driving at night because it brings you a different vibe. Its nothing like the feeling of being on the freeway late at night with a clear road a head. sometimes when it gets like that I don't pay attention to the speed limit. I don't pay attention because I am in my head listening to the voices in there. I sometimes fail to realize how deep I am in my thoughts. Its two voices going back and forth about what to do in the situations that I go through its like weighing out my options. The music that I have lasting through the car just helps sets the mode even more. For me it just smooth sailing it feels like. Sometimes when I get stressed out or I just need to take a breather a late night drive does the trick just right. Its something about the  night the music fast cars and speed that gets me in my head.

I miss the summer days being with my brothers on the stressful days. The days of that be the most stressful ends up being the best day. usually those days we just take the timeout early in the day to just get away from the city and go to a secret location just to do what we do. ATV's sit pool side and get in the pool, just to be in the nature with just the trees, the birds, dirt road, and a lot of land. will be out there all day drinking talking and cooking on the grill. We have so much fun we don't even pay attention to our phones half the time. The best parts to me and just going on our rides. just us and the dirt road. living for the speed and the cool breeze the flow through my shirt. The energy flowing through my body coming from my bike as I shift the gears. Sometimes after I change gears I press harder on the gas just to pop a wheelie.  just days like these just release so much stress. It feels like nothing else matters but, what all is right there happening in that moment.

My first year of college was a waste. It was somewhere I didn’t want to be and I felt depressed. I was supposed to play basketball but I didn’t because of something that happen for my senior year of high school. So I wasn’t apart of anything or a community it was just me. The feeling of just being alone is the worst feeling ever. All the friends I had there were in a sport I was the only one who didn’t play a sport. It kind of got so bad to the point I had gave up on sports and I had stopped working out and trying to better myself. I always wanted to go home for no reason and I just stayed in my dorm playing my PlayStation because it wasn’t nothing else better to do. I would definitely say that last year was the roughest year for me as a person physically and mentally. I was so glad that Defiance College was still interested in me because initially I was getting recruited by them from my senior year of high school but my dad wanted me to go to Tiffin University.  When I first visited to Defiance College for basketball I already from the jump felt like I was a part of the community. Just the vibe that was coming from everyone who was around me. The basketball team which I am now currently on became my community. I have now been a part of this community for about 6 months and I have way too much love for all my brothers’ every last one of them. I literally spend every single day with all of them. We all eat together, hangout with each other twenty-four seven, not to mention practicing every day. We really don't do anything in particular it just we all just grew so close over the past couple of months to the point we all knew that it’s a brotherhood. Being away at school and with the guys everyday they pretty much like family, the way we look out for one another. It’s hard to feel down or alone because it’s always somebody there to make u laugh or smile and pick you up when you’re down. A community can be a group of people who come together and work together. They also look out for one another and its almost like a family or a brotherhood.

Down four with under a minute to go I kept saying in my head. Its something about those big games that just get my adrenaline running through my body. My  mindset is to get the ball and win this game. Its a rival game in front of the whole school I can't drop the ball. I hear the whistle blow as i get ready to get the ball my hands are shaking and are tingling as I wipe the sweat that was dripping of my palms. I starting dribbling the ball and I look at my teammate Deji who was getting ready to set me pick I come around I look to only see my guy who was guarding me stumble and nobody was in front of me I see the basket clear as day I take my shot and watch it fall through the net in slow motion. The other teammate try to race it up the floor for a quick bucket but missed it as I get the rebound I look at the clock with fifteen seconds left. I counted down in my head and I shot the ball with six seconds left for it to just hit off the front of the rim. Deji jumped sky high to tip it back to me as I grab it again with one second left. I shot the floater with two people in front of me to see it fall threw the net. It was a big weight lifted from my shoulders to see that we won the crowd goes wild and my teammates jumping around full of joy.

As I wake up with a massive headache and the feeling of something stabbing me in my back from the uncomfortable mattress. I stood up barely able to catch my balance almost falling over, scratching my head pacing back and forth trying to remember what the hell happen to me. As I walk around i feel somethings in my pocket. I reach in there to pull everything out one by one. The first thing I pull out is a casino chip from the Caesars Place. The first thing I knew was that I was in Las Vegas in a jail cell. The second thing I find in this pocket is a room key from the same place. I started to have flashbacks of me in a fancy suit walking down to the casino. At the blackjack table I couldn't stop winning. The Third thing I remember pulling out of my pocket was a wristband from a club, I now remember walking downtown with a group of my guys and us walking into the club. the bright neon sign and the loud music had drawn us in and I remember a lot of drinks being pasted around. As I sat in my cell I got to thinking to myself where the hell did the guys go? How did we get separated? The last two things in my pocket left an even bigger question mark on my head, I pulled out a pocket full of one dollar bills and a wedding ring. My mind was completely blown and I couldn't put my finger on last night at all.
